About
This training introduces Photovoice as a participatory action research (PAR) method and a community engagement strategy used to advance health equity. At The BLACK Collaborative, Photovoice is a justice-centered approach that elevates lived experience and informs systems change to support community voices in shaping maternal and infant health outcomes. You will learn the theoretical foundations of the method, how to facilitate photography-based storytelling, and the ethical considerations required to transform visual documentation into compelling evidence for policy advocacy.
