Thank you for joining us for The BLACK Collaborative's Kick-Off Celebration and Cincinnati's 1st Family-Center Health Collaborative Block Party!

 

On August 26th, we celebrated Black Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2023, Black culture, and health equity with a twist of health education, amplifying community voices, lived experience, inclusivity, and direct access to resources.

Our Health Collaborative Block Party Initiative focuses on providing culturally specific health education and services in a culturally supportive environment to foster enjoyable learning, engagement, and networking that extends beyond Mother/Baby but includes the community at large! 

 

Our innovative Health Collaborative initiative provides health experience filled with cultural, music, games, and targeted education aimed to mitigate BLACK maternal morbidity and infant mortality to include preconception health, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum warning signs, and fatherhood. We specialize in being the experts to the community that represents and reflects the community we serve.

Our health exhibitions are explicitly selected and identified as Black grassroots organizations.
