About
This course builds staff competency in documenting infant feeding status, providing non-clinical feeding education, and supporting human milk goals within a health equity framework. Designed for CHWs and postpartum support staff, it focuses on addressing barriers Black families face in accessing culturally congruent care. Participants will learn standardized feeding categories, nonjudgmental communication standards, and critical referral thresholds for IBCLCs or medical providers. The curriculum ensures all staff can provide safe, respectful feeding support while adhering to CDC and FDA formula safety guidelines.
