Group Rules

Respect and Professional Conduct

Treat all members with respect, dignity, and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, or harm of any kind will not be tolerated. Honor the lived experiences, cultural backgrounds, and identities of all participants.

Confidentiality & HIPAA Awareness

Do not share personal stories, case details, or sensitive information outside the group. When discussing clinical examples, remove all identifying information. Maintain privacy and adhere to ethical standards at all times.

Evidence-Informed and Equity-Centered Dialogue

Active Learning & Constructive Engagement

Participate in discussions, workshops, case reviews, and learning modules. Ask questions, share reflections, and contribute to collective learning. Provide thoughtful, supportive feedback when invited.

Professional Boundaries

Maintain appropriate boundaries with peers, mentors, and faculty. Do not solicit business, private clients, or clinical services within the group.

No Promotion, Advertising, or Spam

Personal business promotions, advertisements, fundraising, or unrelated content is prohibited unless previously approved by HEAL Academy administration.

Honor Cultural Humility & Lived Experience

Remain open to learning, self-reflection, and bias recognition. Uphold principles of justice, cultural humility, and allyship in all interactions.

Intellectual Property Protection

Course materials, recordings, curriculum documents, and HEAL Academy tools may not be copied, distributed, or used outside the program. Sharing copyrighted materials without permission is strictly prohibited.

Commitment to Growth & Accountability

Mistakes are part of learning; accountability is part of professionalism. If concerns arise, members are expected to participate in corrective dialogue with faculty. Repeated violations may result in removal from the group.
